To assist people of Southern and Central Iowa in their efforts to make healthy life choices and prevent violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse as well as other risky behaviors through evidence-based programs and community partnerships.
About Us
Prevention Concepts, Inc. is a non-profit, comprehensive prevention education agency serving South Central Iowa since 1982. Some of our strengths are our multi- dimensional approach to prevention and flexibility: we serve the people of Central and Southern Iowa through their lifespan and provide services that involve children, youth, parents, school and law enforcement officials, and concerned citizens.
We stress the positives of preventing adolescent pregnancy, alcohol, tobacco & other drug use by minors & in the workplace, domestic, school & dating violence, child abuse.
